Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) stands as a beacon of health education, boasting a rich history that spans over a century. Established on June 12, 1881, ACPHS made its mark as the nation's 14th pharmacy program. Its formation received the prestigious approval of Dr. E.N. Potter, then President of both Union College and Union University, underscoring its early academic legitimacy and strong institutional backing. Looking to the future, ACPHS is embarking on an exciting new chapter. In April 2025, it was announced that the college would merge with Russell Sage College. This gradual process is planned to culminate by Fall 2027, promising to create enhanced opportunities and a broader educational experience for students.
