Haven University

Haven University, a distinguished private institution, has cultivated a rich academic legacy since its inception in 1969. Originally established as the California Graduate School of Theology, it quickly distinguished itself under the guidance of its notable founders: ordained Southern Baptist pastor William S. McBirnie, prominent Methodist layman George Crane, and Robert Grant. This foundational period laid the groundwork for its commitment to rigorous theological education.

Opening its doors in 1970 on the campus of the United Community Church in Glendale, the institution began its journey, building robust classroom facilities and a comprehensive library.
